Beginning today I will be starting a personal challenge called 50 Paintings in 50 Days. I've attempted this challenge in the past and the most I've been able to manage was 30 paintings in 50 days. The nice thing about the challenge is that it has helped me break out of creative blocks because the task is simply to paint and not judge the results. I will be posting each painting on my blog and of course every painting will be for sale. The way I look at it is even if I only get 30 paintings again I will still have 30 more then if I never undertook the challenge. One last thing...the challenge is not "one painting a day" it's 50 in 50 days. That allows me to go a day or so without posting and lets me complete more then one painting a day as well.
